Really nice wine that’s drinking now. A well balanced wine with flavours of rich plums, dark berries and a hint of chocolate finishing with a long silken palette. Very enjoyable.

Great wine. I was worried about the cork and amazingly it was still in good shape. A great rich deep red colour with a nose of rich earth, pepper and spice that softened the longer I left it decanted. The initial tannins softened with a sweet earthy and chocolate/spice finish. Plenty of length and very enjoyable. There was a little sediment but not enough to waste too much of the bottle.

Wow, what a wine. Initially I wasn’t sure but this wine really surprised me with it’s depth. Beautiful deep rich colour and a nose or earthy raisins and pepper. Soft on the front with a memorable chocolate and spice finish. This was only an ‘05 but I’m sure will be even better in 3 or 4 years.

A nose of lifted ripe cherries and spices. On the palate the flavours explode with the dominant old bush vine Grenache characters enhanced by the peppery Shiraz and, rich plumby Mataro. This one is great new but would be better in a year or two.

Intensely coloured with the aroma exhibiting the classic Shiraz characteristics of blueberry, pepper, spice and leather with the Viognier adding a subtle perfumed lift. the palate is warm with concentrated fruit flavours and firm persistent tannins.
